Fitlife Foods makes eating healthy incredibly convenient and delicious with freshly prepared meals that are ready to enjoy when you are. With multiple locations throughout Florida, Fitlife Foods was looking to expand their customer base outside by targeting prospective customers who were new to the convenience of perfectly portioned meals made from all-natural ingredients. What began with a brand refresh via updated language and a new website grew into loyalty campaigns, social engagements and weekly email sends.
Like the meals, we set out to build an engaged social fan base from scratch. Since working with the brand for the last year in 2016, email subscribers doubled from 11K to 22K. To reinforce this content, we also leveraged social channels like Facebook and Instagram to build audiences – increasing Facebook fans from 18K to 25K organically, and Instagram followers from 2.2K to nearly 6K. And all that engagement paid off, as sales are up – so much so that retail locations have nearly doubled from 8 to 13 throughout the state of Florida.
Part of the brand refresh included updated language with more clarity and attitude – a delicate balance of fun but not "too hot for Goldilocks" verbage that entertains and entices. The new tone revitalized the brand through bolder, driven and more confident communication that reflected an active lifestyle. This new approach extended from email and social to an entire rewrite of the website content.
